pretty decent difference. you think it'l be slightly cheaper on xbox perhaps? :)D

But hey, this is the reason why Hideo Kojima didn't want a port oh MGS4, he wanted a game built straight from the bottom for the 360, Cause as you can see, quality diminishes from one console to another.

Well at least I know which one I'm getting it on now. :TT_TT:

PS3 FTW!!!

Now with my fanboyism aside.

Remember this game was MADE for PS3... until Microsoft worked a deal to get it on the xbox for north america. It's usually the other way around, most games are made on 360 and ported on PS3 since it's cheaper that way. But yes, this is a clear indication as to the power of both systems, although I dont think there should be a gameplay difference. Only thing is though, that on 360 this will require 3 disks, as again... it was 1st made for the blu-ray (50 gigs CDs) platform and ported over to HD-DVD for 360.

Well it DOES make the xbox seem inferior, but as I said.... It was initially developed on a blu ray platform which has a capacity of 50 gigs then the project was transferred on to HD-DVD which has a 15 gig capacity. So it does make sense, since it would cost Square Enix WAAAY too much money to build the game seperately from the ground up for xbox360. Since making games for the PS3 alone costs a fortune...

All PS3 exclusives would actually use 2-3 CDs if transfered w/o being rebuilt for the system xbox 360.... just because of the Blu ray/HD-DVD difference... but game play wise it's all the same... It's just the capacity of the disks.

As far as the graphics goes, the PS3 has 6 seperate chipsets that act as CPUs... mainly when Playing PS3 exclusives, one of those chipsets can focus on graphical rendering, which is why you see the Difference in the 1st post. As the 360 has one CPU (i'm not sure if it's dual core)... But the differences are not so severe as you can see.

Wow the game isn't nearly as beautiful on the Xbox 360. Sorry Xboxers. Lol.

@Hydro: so your basically saying that the PS3 has a greater graphics capacity than the 360 indefinitely?

That makes sense that there are some games that look bad on the ps3 when mad multiplatform with 360 because of this threshold that it has to pass graphics wise.

Everyone knows that the graphic capability on the PS3 is MUCH higher than the Xbox. This is evident from games like Uncharted 2 and Killzone. Games on the PS3 are not as easy to develop as games on the Xbox are because the way that games are SUPPOSED to be made for the console is to use all 6 Cells when ur making a game. Developers dont do that because its harder to code takes more time and in the end its more expensive to make sed game.

As Hydro said before its because of Porting why the quality on Multiplatform games differ.
Its harder to code games exclusively and more expensive as well, SO when they are making multi Platformed games they are NORMALLY designed for the 360 FIRST then they are just moved over to be able to run on the PS3. Since FF XIII is being designed FOR the PS3 the Xbox version gets the short end of the stick.

No one is bashing the Xbox.... calm down... we are just simply stating the difference between platforms, not ONE bad opinion has been said about xbox. Now, is your ego so out of whack that you take offense to anything?.... can't we simply inform what the differences are before you feel like some one kicked you in the leg?

We've even talked about the PS3 in the negative light, expressing how it cost a fortune to develop games for it and how it suffers from having games built for xbox ported on to it.

We are simply being informative and educational about the fact, not fanboys..... that's what you're being.
