The graphics dont make the game and even if it looks better on 1 console than another it still going to be a good looking game, nit picking isnt going to do anything.

This topic would have been better in the Ps3 forum showing the better difference between the two consoles, rather than being in the xbox and bashing the forum. Are we comparing 576p to 780p? I have my xbox set to 780p and it looks nice. As far as graphics concern, the 360 would actually LOOK better on a lower standard Tv than a PS3. Basically, if you have both consoles and can't decide which version to get then look upon your setup first. If you have the money for a HDTV that can support the PS3's resolution then i'd go for that. Anything lower should go for the 360 version. Yes, the PS3's GPU is better, but most of the community isn't getting everything from it that they should,due to setups. Like when a television channel announced HD, you see no difference on your tv, even if you manage to get the HDTV channel to work.

Its not Microsoft's fault, its SE's for not putting enough into the port. 1 gig is left on each disc of the 360 version, that could have went towards smoother cut scenes.

Right now I'm still in a bind on what system I'll get it for. Time is running out and I might go 360. Looks excellent on my SD TV.

The EuroGamer talked so bad about the 360 version, when ironically the video proved the differences in resolution are SO minor that it makes you feel sad you even wasted the time to think about it. It was all really just a ploy to make the PS3 seem incredibly inferior to the Xbox 360.

Like Zori said, it really just comes down to your setting and TV.

Oh, and I will probably go PS3 just to keep it 100.

If anything, It's getting released soon. Xbox owners & Ps3 alike will be happy.

Saw the commercial for it today,. For the Xbox only. Also had their bundle advertised. (Speaking of that, it's good for people interested in the system & FF that don't own an XBOX.)

In the end, it's all the same game, even if the Playstaion version will have slightly sharper graphics.

Like Hero said, the game was already done, on PS3. Then put on Xbox. So it's kind of apparent in a sense, looking at it graphic wise. As Zori stated, if you have a lame TV. It won't make much of a difference which system you buy it off of, or if you're set up a certain way for one console, stick with that one on Final Fantasy.

Didn't intend for this to be a flame war with the two powerhouse systems on a new release. More of me being suprised at the fact Sony's getting the goods. It's pretty general, figured it would go to a ps3 debate..

PS3 can have the Graphics. Xbox has the better online, friend interface, achievements are better then trophy's, ect. But that's my opinion.

Yeah from what I saw, the only way you would even notice the difference, I assume, is if you are playing on a large tv at high settings. On the piece of junk that I assume most of us play on (at least I do lol) the differences will be completely invisible.

Of course at the size and detail of those images the difference makes the xbox version look choppy.

Like boshi said, the game was originally designed for the PS3, and then was ported to the 360, which weakened it ever so slightly. Usually it happens the other way around lol. Regardless in the end it's still FFXIII and it's still going to be great.

On a serious note, i prefer the old system back in FF10. Nothing is wrong with the new one, i just feel more comfortable knowing that the game is being controlled entirely by me rather than having a CPU take over the other characters. I admit the AI for curing is up to par, but sometimes they heal you before they heal themselves.

I also miss visiting towns and shopping there. It feels more like an adventure when there are more things to explore. I'm about halfway through the game on my second disk. I don't know if i will continue playing or not since i lost momentum for the game.

Well i got the game but a 24 hours ago so far i have over 12 hours in the game.
Im gonna disagree with Zori on the battle system I DO like having control of all the characters but the AI does do a good job of keeping up with you. The Battle system is just something to get used to soon enough ull be switching up ur paradigms and making 1000% chains in No time

The thing that i dont like the upgrade system... Im afraid of how much or how little i put into things... make me self not knowing if im wasting my Upgrade items 4 the future.

Youll have fun with the game the FIRST part is kinda ... meh but after that it starts picking up.
